I've been back in the US for about three weeks now and have been trying to catch up on some gaming. Two days ago I took advantage of Best Buy's "buy 1 get second half off" deal on Xbox 360 games and acquired Batman Arkham Asylum and Prototype. So far I am very satisfied with both my purchases. I haven't played Batman much but its been good so far (I'm terrible at the riddles :lol: ).

Most of my time has been spent on Prototype. I'm just about finished with it and to be honest, Prototype has given me a harder time than most games I have played recently. It's not really difficult but I have had to retry some missions due to careless mistakes and forgeting that Hunters don't get stunned no matter what and will completely destroy you if you are unfortunate enough to get cornered. :P Oh well the game is still s blast to play and watching Alex Mercer fly around like Emo Peter Pan and then elbow dropping on an unsuspecting pedestrian never seems to get old (Yahtzee's Emo Peter pan comparison in his review always makes me crack up). Should be done with it pretty soon though.

Now the past couple of weeks I have gone on a spending spree when it comes to gaming. Since my return from vacation I have bough the following:

• Gears of War 2
• Gears of War 2 All Fronts Pack
• Ninja Gaiden 2 Mission Mode
• Fallout 3: Point Lookout
• Fallout 3: Mothership Zeta
• Shadow Complex
• Braid
• Battlefield 1943
• Dissidia Final Fantasy

Unfortunately, my Wii has been collecting dust since Madworld was released (which I thought was increadibly boring). Nothing has interested me since then on Wii. Probably wont get any play time until New Super Mario Bros. Wii comes out. I would sell it, but aside from NSMB the is also No More Heroes 2 and Super Mario Galaxy 2 that I am REALLY looking forward to.

As for the DS, I plan on picking up the new Professor Layton game soon. Other than that I'll wait until Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story and Pokemon Soul Silver (don't know the exact name off the top of my head). I thought I was done with Pokemon after Diamond. I had grown tired of it. Then they announce Gold and Silver remakes (gold and silver are my favorite gen in the series) and I can't say pass to that. I'm not playing any Pokemon game until their release. Only game I play on the DS now is Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon. I just can't get enough of it. :D

Anyways that's it for this gaming update. Once again if anyone wants to play online my GT is on my profile here. I'm also getting FEAR 2 and MAYBE Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe tomorrow. Not 100% on that.
