Also I dont want to have to make another topic, but my laptop has been run slow lately and I was wondering if I could just get a new hard drive to make it run faster. It takes about 10 secs to boot up but when I am on the desktop it takes a few minutes for me to open any programs. Also could I make any other upgrades to it.

An SSD would do wonders for general usability. Just another mechanical hard drive would have little effect.

7/11. Some were pretty obvious, especially having a toddler. One of them looks exactly like something she'd paint. Two or three were obviously not done by a kid, the style was sloppy but there was some actual thought put into them.

It's probably fake. They're using official shots, though, looks like, but given where it's coming from I wouldn't chance it. Some of the fake ones have shots of the actual controller they ship you - they either have no WiiU text on top or just look wrong (poor finish on the plastic, buttons that don't quite line up, etc).

A mouse would be a perfect pointer substitution for a Wiimote..........an analog stick on the other hand would be straight up TERRIBLE! Imagine trying to play Wii Sports or shooting games that were made for the motion controls with the Gamepads analog sticks, YUCK! I think most of you are seriously overlooking how much work would have to go into getting the Gamepad to work with alot of Wii games. They were meant to be played with a Wiimote, not analog sticks.

Just take this feature for what it is, turning your Wii U Gamepad into a little tv for playing Wii games if someone else is using the big screen.

I think both would be pretty terrible. A mouse would work okay for emulating games that only use the Wiimote as a cursor, but anything that has more motion (Wii Sports like you mentioned) would still be unplayable. Either one would only work as a stopgap for games where accurate wiimote support might not be necessary. But any game that supports classic controllers should be able to work on the gamepad without any issue at all.

I've read that the Dolphin emulator (hope that's okay to mention that here...) allows you to use the mouse as a Wii pointer. How does that work?AtelierFan
Emulation of the system that tracks the IR spots on the sensor bar, I guess. There's no technical reason why Nintendo couldn't implement something similar with the right analog stick. It would be clunky, sure, but it would work.

let say I wanted to make like suck and use a controller, couldn't I use my mouse to get around and pick up a controller to play games??

Your phrasing is hilarious. Yes, you could use a mouse, but this bypasses a step and just streamlines things for a simpler experience. I personally have no use for it as like you I'll just use a mouse prior to picking up a controller, but I can see why people would use and enjoy big picture mode.

60fps is so much smoother. That's not to say 30fps is unplayable because it's not (Perfect Dark on the N64 and its ~10fps, that was unplayable). I mean, now there are PC gamers getting spoiled with 120/144Hz monitors running games at that many frames per second. Once you do that you doom yourself, and similarly when you go from a 60fps game to a 30fps one, it feels so choppy in comparison. You also get over it pretty quick so 30fps console games don't bother me much.

It's a fantastic game, I agree. You sacrifice the 1080p of the console (and PC) versions, but it's still a beautiful game and those colours absolutely pop on the OLED. I'd imagine the LCD version of the Vita won't be nearly as incredible looking. Vita version also has some neat extras (touchscreen hunts I think) to make up for no local co-op.

No. Just, no. I've had delivery that was worse than frozen, but frozen is consistently mediocre at best where delivery can often be great. Both pale in comparison to homemade pizza, however, which is relatively easy to make and absolutely glorious.

I have and love my white 600T, though it is expensive (it shouldn't be $200, though, I paid around $130) and some people say its cooling performance is so-so. I've never had an issue, and I love its stormtrooper look. According to NeoGaf the single best PC case you can buy is the Fractal Design R4. It is cheaper than the 600T and good for building a quieter PC.
