[QUOTE="starwa1ker"]Is 650 watts enough? Or I should go for 750 watts?Hanass

I have read that i7 920 uses 155W while turned on and min. 250W while full working. Graphics cards can use almost 250W (1 graphic card).I think that 650W power supply is now days a minimum. 850W is a new medium and above 1000W is playing it safe (if you have the money to buy it of course) .

Total BS, you fell for the marketing scam that PSU manufacturers set up. At 850W you can run a massively OC'ed Core i7 AND 2 GTX 295's Quad-SLI no problem, as long as it's a good quality PSU. So yeah, 650W is even overkill (you could get away with 550-600).

No scam. That aren't the numbers from the manufacturers. The magazine that I read measured the usage them self and I believe them. You can go and buy a 650W PSU but when you consider adding a extra graphics card you may need to consider a more powerful PSU. In my opinion you shouldn't buy a PSU that has the almost exact power that your PC needs, you should buy a PSU that has extra power so that when you want to upgrade something you don't have to buy a new PSU. It's better to have more power, I think of it like backup.I agree that he could run this PC without problem with 650W PSU but why buy 650W PSU when you have the opportunity to invest in something that will eventually pay off in long term.

Good solid build. 6 Gb of RAM DDR3 is just what I am thinking of buying, of course triple channel.

A good PC system for doing what. If it's for general everyday work then it has a overpowered graphics card. And if you want to play serious games on it you would found yourself in a lack of RAM and storage space

Well, I know a lot of people who wouldn't recommend using a nvidia with AMD processor and chip set. In my opinion if you are going for AMD stick to it and use ATI , but if you use Intel processor then it depends on a chip set. I know that this isn't really true, but it's just my suggestion.

The simple answer is that consoles are built for one and only one reason and that is playing games.PC's are built for a wide range of operations and functionality.

And now the plot :

Console developers see that people like consoles because you buy them and they do the stuff that they are intended to do ,that is you don't need to update drivers, change hardware or install other stuff nedded for playing games on PC's. So they are now even building consoles that do the stuff that PC's do but there's no room for ruinning the system because it's build to do one thing and one thing only and you can't go beyond that one thing.

But that is only my opinion.

I think that Sony is a good strong and high quality electronic producing company which expandes fast in every field of entertainment and that is what makes it a good company. I think that they care more about money then the users unlike nintendo but that also has it's upside.

I'll admit that there was a period of time where i stopped playing it completely and started thinking about otherwise about it. But one day i picked it up and i cant put it down again. It's one of those systems that you can love but have moments when you dont play it for awhile. That doesnt mean it should be tossed aside as a useless platform. Not that I'm saying thats what other people are doing.solidhero86

I had a similar situation, i even thought of selling it. But then i gave it a "last try" and said sc**w you all i ain't selling ever.

Maybe i'm selffish?

I see a lot of people saying that Silent Hill: origins is their favorite game on PSP. I haven't played it so far but i will give it a try these days.
