Finally bought a PSP

Between the price drop and my local retailer selling off an overstock of games at 75% off, I walked out of there feeling like a bank robber.  I got the PSP Entertainment Pack, which includes a copy of Lords of Dogtown (great movie) and ATV Offroad Fury (don't know if that's fun or not) along with a 1 GB Memory Stick Pro Duo.  All for the low, low price of $219.

Now for the part that will make you green with envy.  I got the following games for between $4 and $10 apiece:

Killzone: Liberation

Star Wars:  Lethal Alliance

SOCOM 2

WTF

Rengoku II

Justice League Heroes

Sid Meier's Pirates

All of this plus an anodized aluminum case with scratchguard for under $300.  Now, now.  Don't hate.

I'll update to let you know what I think of the games.

Ever sell a game you wish you'd kept?

I sold my copy of Clive Barker's Undying at a yard sale.  Now I wish I hadn't.  It was a great game.  Now I'm crying in my beer.  But I don't have any beer.  So I'm really crying.

I Don't Know Where Those Recent Ratings Came From ...

... but I didn't post 'em.  Evil Dead: Fistful of Broomstick for the PS2?  Don't own a PS2.  Never played it.  Outlaw Volleyball?  You're kidding, right?  Come on.  I have some taste.

Then again, it does have sorta anime-lookin' chicks in skimpy swimsuits, doesn't it?  Might have to check that one out.

Help me - I can't stop playing Unreal Tournament 2004

My life is being consumed whole by a 2-year-old game I bought for 5 bucks in a bargain bin.  The damned thing is just too much fun!  Way better than 2003, like the original on steroids.  The maps are awesome.  The mods are awesome.  The mayhem and big guns and cool vehicles are awesome. I've been dreaming about it.  I hear the theme music in my head when I'm driving.  Is that bad?

I gotta go ... somewhere, a Blue Power Core is under attack ...

Oblivion, land of creepy serial-killer looking guys and homely women

Hey, is it just me, or are the characters in Oblivion just straight freaky looking?  Especially when you get them in a dark place, like an alley, or underneath a flickering lamp on a streetcorner.  Bethesda went the extra mile to create those deep shadow effects on the faces - and it makes everybody look like they just popped out of a Universal horror movie!  Also, there is no way to create a female player character who's actually pretty.  Morrowind, here I come.  Anybody play Neverwinter Nights 2 yet?
