As an Importer you should have some knowledge of the Japanese language to get full enjoyment of your imported games..to say that it's a bad game because you don't understand it or to say "what's the point if you can't understand it" is simply absurd. You knew very well that it was going to be in Japanese but even with that knowledge you still went on to import it then say it's bad because you don't understand? Protip: Don't import unless A. You know how to read whatever language the game is in or B. Are willing to accept that you'll probably be lost for most of the game due to a lack of understanding of the Language. I along with other gamers Import because we can read and understand the language. If you don't then just wait for a localized version. Plain and Simplekya-kun
Baka... he was saying that DN: Kira is BAD under the circumstances of not understanding the Japanese Text that flashes rather repetitiously throughout the entire game! He was NOT saying Death Note sucks in general. -_- He bought the game knowing well that it was in Japanese. But that wasn't going to prevent him from buying it. He is a fan of Death Note in general; so therefore, he wanted to get the game as well. He then played it, seen for himself how difficult it was to understand [even though he had already anticipated that], and then let the one on this forum page know why DN: Kira is not the greatest choice. You, whoever you are... it makes no difference to me, are the type that just likes to hear yourself, and find any opportunity available to criticize people over what choice of words they use to express a specific reason as to why it would not be their recommendation to promote a game in which they cannot have fun with because of its language barrier. -_-
Even so, I will recommend DN: Kira. Someone who knows Japanese must have translated the game word for word into english somewhere on the web. Buy the game, find its english translation on the game, and use that as your guide as you play through it. At the same time you will learn Japanese; and if you are anywhere near the Death Note fan I claim to be. You will go with Death Note regardless! ^_^
