I've heard it way too many times. "OMg that game is so overrated." Who cares?

    What makes a game overrated? Popularity? Popularity should have no incentive or lack thereof for your choice of gaming. Being a fan of Halo im glad the game is overrated. You want to know why? Developer incentive. Developers wont look at the game and go "oh, we can just get lazy now and meet deadlines.' Instead, they will work harder to make a better game. Theres nothing wrong with a game being overrated or underrated because in the end, its all preference. I thought killzone was underrated. Was it a Halo killer? Of course not, i knew that it wouldnt be from the beginning. No way any PS2 shooter would be able to beat Halo, but just because it didnt kill Halo does that make it a bad game? Hell no! I enjoyed it quite a bit, it had some problems but it was still a great game. Picking at Halo is a waste of time so just drop the whole jargon and stop treating video games like politics.
