pitchfork just lost a lot of respect from me for this....this is definitely the worst review I've seen on their site, and I usually trust their judgement but this is just ridiculous. Recovery is a 2.8, while Thank Me Later gets an 8.4?! You've gotta be kidding me the reviewer mentioned how complex and technical Em's flow and rhyme patters are throughout the album, but gave him absolutely NO credit for it. In my opinion, Em's flow alone makes this one of the best albums of the year and of Em's career, but this guy saw it as a gimmick or something :? Makes no sense to me at all

[QUOTE="Toriko42"]

Good

Anyone who likes Kid Cudi either way should just listen to Theophilus London instead. Same idea, London is infinitely better.

Lmaoooooo

This is music for Cudi's core audience,stoner kids who like to chill

this song is awesome to his core audience. I'm part of that fanbase,thus this song is perfect. Let the haters storm in....doesn't matter.Song goes

i agree...i'm a part of that fanbase too, but this production is nothing compared to anythin gon the first album

the track definitely isn't mastered and it sounds like it's still missing the hook as well... even with this though, I don't think the beat will be changing much even when the song is completely done....come on Dre :? Can't believe he thought this was up to par

You sound like a classic fail fan tbo. You just want the artist to do the same thing over and over and over again. You'll never get that man. Partially because some artists can't and/or don't want to. I'm happy Em is trying something different and this is better than encore and relapse which says a lot. It's amazing to see Em completely humbled on his tracks. It's a side of him I've never really seen, so to me that's new and exciting. And how can you blame Em for Blaze's beat? Not only that, but it's actually really good. Taking something like that and flipping it is fun to listen to. This album obviously isn't your Marshall Mathers LP but this should be clear to everyone that he'll never be in a state of mind like that again. He's isn't a new up and comer anymore. He isn't battling his wife and mom over the same issues anymore. It's not gonna happen haha. Quit holding on and waiting for Marshall Mathers LP 2 because the only way you'll get that is if Em throws away his care for the art form and fakes it and he is anything but fake.IceVenom
well said sir. i agree completely

http://blogsoverbull(CENSORED).blogspot.com/2010/06/lil-b-age-of-information.html this is by far the best Lil B song i've heard....he doesn't even sound like himself, he's got a mid-90's flow :? the article is also extremely interesting....I think this has convinced me that Lil B is definitely not as bad as he sounds in songs like "Like a Martian" and "I Look Like Jesus", etc.

 lol i don't know what to think of this guy....he flat out CANNOT rap, but as of lately he has caught my interests and i get this feeling that he is deeper than he comes off as and knows exactly what he is doing (and not just because he has well directed youtube videos with cool camera effects, etc.) *SIDE NOTE* I've searched all across the internet for the answer to this whole "BASED GOD" and "BASED FREESTYLE" stuff that he does, and finally found an answer http://slumz.boxden.com/f87/what-exactly-does-based-god-mean-1366794/index7.html here in the interview near the top of the page. i dont know why this guy interests me with how bad some of his **** is...but he does
