^ What I was about to say...

Jay always holds artists back and puts his own ish out... When Dame was working with him, other people came out much more often.

I think Curren$y would have been better off staying with Young Money, as long as he didn't start to go downhill. Wayne would catapulted him into stardom...

no way man.....the same way gudda gudda (lol) is 'famous' now? he was currensy's replacement after he left. everyone on young money is super wack and hearing currensy on a Young Money album would have given me a totally different perception of him than I have now. now he's doing what he wants to do, not what Wayne wants him to do. much better without YM

Good song, but the adlibs didn't seem to add much. :PFoolz3h
yeah....he's only on this song because it's about BIG and so he can get some credit from real hip-hop heads when his album drops or whatever i know diddy and jay e have been friends for a while, but of course it had to take a song about BIG for him to finally hop on a track with him and get him some major publicity

i think people need to start realizing that the boundaries of genres are going away in music...especially in hip-hop. i think these new artists (Blu, BoB, Kid Cudi, Drake, etc.) are just trying to put out good MUSIC, not good HIP-HOP or rap. they don't limit themselves by saying "I'm a rapper, I can't make a song like this" like rappers used to. good music is good music, doesn't matter if an artist is rapping, singing, talking, yelling, or not even saying anything, ora combination of any of those. people are going into these new songs that have been released in like the last year with the mindset that they're gonna listen to a hip-hop song, and when it's not what they're expecting they're so quick to diss it this song is sick and I wanna hear some more stuff like this from Blu, but I also wanna hear something else from him that I would never expect

[QUOTE="DaDukies"]annnnd here it is: can't believe he did a song w/ diddy lol...i knew they were homies, but their styles are just soo different, thankfully it's just diddy on the adlibs makes me soo excited though that Diddy is behind him with some support, and Diddy even says "ladies & gentlemen this is the start of something big"....i'm really starting to honestly believe that great hip-hop is coming back to the mainstream :)Colt45fool

saved you playa

thank you kindly sir....i was banned like all last week for posting songs that were legally released online for people to hear. lay off mods :P anyways...Jay got this beat by posting his AIM and e-mail on Twitter so people can send him beats, and he said he heard this one and just had to lay something down. could you imagine just sending him a beat and then a couple days later you hear Jay Electronica and Diddy over your beat? lol
