Quite frankly, I enjoyed the game thoroughly. The plot was extremely interesting in my opinion, character development was superb, every one of them was quite unique with a dramatic past, of course the graphics were amazing but not without minor problems such as the frame rate dropping ocassionally and the Unreal Engines trademark texture pop ups. I can understand why some would be put off by Mass Effect, its heavily story driven with lengthy cutscenes and dialogs, which is honestly the reason why I enjoy the game so much, but some will find it slow paced and boring, the combat is not as aggressive as your regular action game but it still does a pretty good job. As they say, to each his own, the game doesnt really appeal to more "in your face" action type video game fans and its not supposed to, for those who quit playing because they got stuck in some part of it , have some patience and give the game a chance it wont disappoint.
If I was you I wouldn`t trade it in,there are quite a few impressive exclusives lined up for the 360.With all due respect to nintendo,at first I enjoyed playing the Wii because of its control system but to be honest It got old really fast...with only a handful of original and interesting games it just wasn`t enough,between all the ports and run down versions it isn`t really what its cracked up to be.But anyways you got a few great games to get if you do choose to trade in your 360,the usual suspects...you got Zelda:twilight princess,Resi 4(it is the best version around),Okami,No more heroes,SSB:B and Paper Mario.
The 360 will continue to go strong,and with the eventual price drop it will be doing just fine anyways.This topicwas most likely made to stir up problems.
