Yeah most on xbox live have seen the seen the game pass $1 for 1 month deal I've nearly came close a few times.

my complaints were.

1. month to month payments i'm used to have Live and paying once and being done with it for a year.

I play games to relax not to stress myself out over bills and at $14 a month I just was going to say no.

2. I'm not the quickest player I have a stockpile of games I've gotten with Games with Gold/ Deals with Gold that even narrowing it down to just my favorites its going to take me some time to play and with games being added and removed monthly I seriously doubt i'll be beating much.

well thanks to news on https://www.trueachievements.com/n37953/xbox-game-pass-ultimate-price-release-date-detailsww.trueachievements.com problem #1 was dealt with basically if you renew live 1st and then purchase Game Pass Ultimate (xbox, PC and live) for $1 your remaining time on xbox live (which I just renewed for a year) is converted over to Ultimate Game Pass and apparently its not a big secret before you pay it will let you know that upto 36 months (3 years) will be converted over to game pass incidently I actually had another month added onto live because of the deal.

As for point # 2 game pass is still a way to be sure I like a game enough to warrant spending money on it now to see if I remember to cancel before they start adding a monthly charge to my credit card in about a year...
