Saw Pee Wee Herman on the Leno Show and though it wasn't the most entertaining segment it's great to see Paul Reuben and odd as well because Pee Wee's gone from a Man-Child to a old man-child. Although his age doesn't really show unless you zoom in, it's great to see the character again. Anyway, I was just thinking about what made my childhood great and I remember the late 80's and early 90's there was a little show called "Pee-Wee's Playhouse" and even as a 2 year old I had some memories of the series. After the series ended due to Paul Reubens lewd act (He was in an adult theater btw) where he was also unfairly blackballed from hollywood. Yet Mel Gibson still has a job. Anywho, In the early to mid 90's after the show ended I went to my library and checked out cassettes of this along with Timmy the Tooth. Man what an intentive show with all colorful characters and a talking couch. It was actually stimulating and entertaining children's television. Not garbage like Hannah Montana or any of that forced on Disney junk. So I want to give a honorary shout-out to Mr. Pee Wee Herman.
