Live Earth....Not Bad but Not Great....

So I was off Saturday in the smoltering heat, and what better time to spend then watch Live Earth. I watched Live 8 in 2005 (Before I had HD) and enjoyed seeing performances from Pink Floyd, U2, Paul McCartney, The Who, Madonna, Coldplay, Elton John, Madonna, Green Day, Bon Jovi, Stevie Wonder, Dave Matthews, etc... but Live Earth lacked the same type of talent and featured if anything a more pathetic lineup then it's counterparts. The only acts I was interested in were the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, Roger Waters, The Police, Madonna,Duran Duran Bon Jovi and a couple of other acts. But even with this potential Live Earth, "To Bring awareness of Global Warming" only gave us hours and hous of weak music. The highlight ofcourse was the Chili Peppers set in Wembley performing, "Dani California" when they literally electrified the crowd. Other then that the performances were okay and not that interesting. The crowd never got into it and without the "Star Power" to drive the concert it really missed something special.
