Take A Walk Once in A While, It'll Do You Some Good

I've noticed that consumers have become so accustomed to driving everywhere, heck I know people who driver like a distance of 3 or 4 blocks just to pick up milk. Is it any wonder why Americans have gotten fat? They depend so much on driving from one place to another, they forgot what feels like to walk in the warm summer breeze. Not only that but driving short distances may help reduce co2 emissions. Who doesn't want to take a part of reducing global warming?

Now I'm not one of those talkers and not-doers, I got out of my car and I actually walked in the city recently about a few miles. May'be about 6 miles or so? A bit exhausted by it was really nice to not be in a stuffy car and experience the nice city like environment, something I think people take forgranted. I'll tell you walking in the city, despite all of it's imperfections was just great.

The warm atmosphere was really nice, I almost felt disappointed when I went home and had to drive. Definitely great experience though I'm sure my girlfriend probably would hate me if we were out on a date and she had to walk.
