Devils Do Cry!!!

...or was that Devil May Cry. Yesterday I downloaded the Devil May Cry 4 demo and I have to say that this games looks and plays great. It hasn't changed too much from Devil May Cry 3, which is a good thing. You jumo with the A button, shoot with the X, melee with your sword with the Y button and you can use Nero's Devil Bringer arm by pressing B. Simple! There are two missions available in the game, the first one you have to kill as much demons as you can in 10 minutes. Wether that was just a demo restriction or the level requirement in the actual game, I don't really know or care as well. The second mission in the demo has Nero walking across the side of a mountain, whilst a full forced blizzard is under way. After walking onto some ruined bridge and have it collapse under your weight (:P), Nero has to take on demons known as Frosts. As the name suggests, these demons harness the power of ice.

After killing these Frosts you make your way into some sort of run-down town, where a cutscene takes place. A demon called Berial emerges from some sort of demonic portal. Berial looks something like a 200 foot centaur-ox thingy, on fire and wielding a massive sword. It turns out his intentions are not peaceful. It's also great to see that the protaginsts in Devil May Cry never lose the cockyness.

Berial

I haven't had much chance to play some XBL, although I took my chance to download Undertow, the DMC 4 demo, FIfa Street 3 demo and the Kane and Lynch demo. Undertow is what you would expect of a good Arcade game. Fifa Street 3 and Kane and Lynch just suck. Although, Kane and Lynch surpasses Fifa. Only just.

Until next time stay safe and stay strong, because, "You must defeat Sheng Long to stand a chance." (I also advanced a level hehehe)

I have jumped in (totally).

Yesterday I have finally managed to connect my Xbox 360 to Xbox Live. In my opinion this is where all of the great fun begins. So far the only game I have played on Live has been Fifa 08. It's really competitive. On my first Unranked Live match I beat someone 6-0, he was using Arsenal and I was using Inter Milan. That's a pretty good way to kick off my XBL career. My XBL gamertag is "Giggitygoogahey", in honor of Glen Quagmire from Family Guy.

School starts yet again for us here in Australia on January the 28th. Can't wait (sarcasm):( .

Queensland is a really beautiful place. There is constant sunshine and the temperature does not get below 24 degrees Celsius on most days it doesn't exceed 35 degrees celsius which is great.

So for now everybody I would like to wish you all a great Giggity and a great weekend.

I'm back in the game.

Just to let everybody know, my move to Queensland (Aus) has been a great success. I have settled down and gotten into my new school, made new firends etc. I will be posting a more in depth blog in the coming days.

Achievment Unlocked

Booyah! I am really having a blast with my 360 these days. Not only did I get 4 games with the console ( including Gear of War for $99 AUSTRALIAN DOLLARS). I got 2 new games yesterday, the first of which was Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 for $68 Australian dollars and Dead Rising for $40 Australian dollars because it made it into the XBOX Classics.

My older cousin also got GRAW 2 for my birthday but seeing as I have doubles now, I will have to return GRAW 2 and get another game. I'm looking at FIFA 07 or some other game. The question is, which one? I'm a bit doubtful on FIFA 07 because FIFA 08's release date could be announced any time. So, if you guys have any other suggestion, feel free to pass them on.

Adios.

So, what is this thing you call an XBOX360?

There are teh tears of joy!!!!!!!

Yesterday, I took the time to go to K-Mart with my cousin. The aim you ask? Well it was to buy some game console manufactured by Microsoft. That's right. You guessed it. THE XBOX360!!!!!!!!! I am now a truly proud owner of the XBOX360 (finally). I bought Gears of War, Dead or Alive 4 (which came with the 360), Project Gotham Racing and Kameo. Project Gotham and Kameo came in a Wirless Fun Pack with an extra controller. The best part was that it was for $80. The console with DOA:4 was for $548. Gears of War was $99.

I have loved every moment I have spent with the 360. It is fast becoming my favorite console, replacing the Playstation 2. I haven't had the time to connect it to XBOX Live, mainly because I'm not sure if the ethernet cable that comes with it is lon genough to reach the router.

Anyway, I'll leave you good folks to get on with your daily lives. I'm off to play some XBOX360!!!!!!!!!!

Change of address, the clock starts and Bioshock impressions!!!

Pretty long title eh?

I have relocated to my aunties place for 4 weeks before I make my trip to the east coast. I have always loved Melbourne but I feel the time is right to start a new life. To tell you the truth I am a little nervous as to how am I going to fit in at school and other aspects. But, I am really looking forward to it.

The clock has finally started: 4 weeks.

I recently had the great opportunity to play Bioshock. This game is beyond anything that I ever expected it to be. The Plasmids are really great to use. The weapons are a tad bit ineffective. You would expect that a person who gets blown up by a grenade and then gets set on fire to die. Oh well, maybe they have too many physical tonics.

Gamespot has kind of made me mature. I used to have fanboyish opinions on games. Maybe I still do :P. But I really have enjoyed my time on Gamespot. I'm going to be taking massive break of about 2 or 3 months while I get everything sorted.

Until then, Au Revoir.

Coming to Conclusions.

I will never ever go onto the comments section on Youtube again!

I won't write about the exact reason because I don't want to, but I have to say I am a little sad. The amount of racism and hate speech I have seen on that website is appalling! Sure, there are some good comments on there but the amount of bad ones overpower the good ones. Most people do not respect each others beliefs and opinions.

It saddens me to see people like this. It doesn't even seem worth it to prove them wrong, because they will just deny it. I'm not saying that everyone on Youtube is arrogant, its just that it seems as if there is too much of them. My dad would say, "do not get into arguments with people, you're just going to make yourself angry and then you're going to get stressed". My mom would say, "you can't make the world a better place unless you've got support , you can try but you can't. Because, people like that will continue to do that, wether you like it or not".

I'm sorry if any of you misunderstood this blog, I just had to get this out of my system.

In gaming news.... nothing really. Today I got sick. It turns out that my tonsils have got an infection and they hurt reall bad as well.

Bioshock got an impressive 9.0 from Gamespot. Cool.

Anyway I leave you all to go and have a good time. Comments, meh, who needs 'em?

I had to get the hell out of Hell, and quickly too!

It's amazing what you can find when you look around.

And I found Constantine, the game inspired by the film of the same name and from the comic book called Hellblazer. First impressions of the game are good. Hell is breaking loose and it up to John Constantine to stop it. You can use a variety of weapons and spells. Right now I have 2 weapons and 3 spells. It's plays great although the controls feel a little too sensitive.

My PS2 is STILL packed away in the cupboard. I can't get it unpacked and start to play again because there is now only one TV in the house. I just hope all of this change of adress things get over and done with quickly so I can get on with my life.

Not much else going on. I didn't go to school today because I was a little sick, but that didn't stop me from playing Constantine. I might get Halo 3: Collectors Edition, mostly because I'm interested in the stuff they give with Collectors Edition games. I saw the Xbox 360 with Raibow 6: Vegas for $499 AU. Looks good, sounds good and is good. If I get a significant amount of money for my birthday, I might pick up Forza 2 or The Darkness along with it. So my spendings for my September birthday would approximately be: $739.

So until next time, see you all later because I'm going off to play some Constantine.

Taking a day off never felt so good!!!

...good way to start the week,eh?

I couldn't be bothered to go to school today. I had some pains in my right leg yesterday night so I figured I should take the day off of school today. Nearly every single day I wake up at 7.15 AM to go to school, but today I had the liberty to sleep as long as I wanted, hooray for me! I had a gaming invigorated day playing FIFA and FM, virtually the whole day. I figured out how to get the Fifa 07 CD working again, I just had to insert the CD on startup of the computer and voila, I could play! I started a new game in career mode with Fenerbahce in the Turkish Super League after having a few games in kickoff mode. The game is still great and I can't wait for Fifa 08.

FM is a good game aswell, although it is under-rated by some gamers. It might not be their type of game, even some footballing fans don't like these sorts of games. But most do. The amount of detph that this game has to it is truly remarkable. The possibilities are endless.

The PS3 starter pack that Sony had launched in Australia, featuring the Ps3 console, two controllers, Motorstorm and Resisance are going to be taken off of the store shelves on the 31st of August. I really couldn't care less because it is still the same price, but with more stuff included with it. Sony need to sort themselves out very quickly, it looks like they don't even have a stategy. I mean it hasnt even been one month since they launched the bundle. This just makes Microsoft's job even easier.

I could pretty much safe to say that I'm going to get a new cell-phone and an Xbox 360 for my birthday from my parents. The games that I'm looking to get with it at the moment are Forza Motorsport 2 and The Darkness. I'll probably get a few other game with the birthday money I get from some relatives and family friends.

Anyway, long story short, this looks like to be a good year for me, my family and for gaming. :D

Guess Who's Back

I'm back on Gamespot after a few weeks of beaing in-active. I still check out my friends blogs, the news on the site, etc. But I still lack that kind of motivation for anything now, I guess I need newer things in my life like this new font that I have. Naturally moving to a different state is going to be new enough as I will have to adapt to my new surroundings.

I have been trying to not let my studies, soccer and my games not to go all over the place, as well as my social life. I think I can safely say that I'm maintaing my life pretty well at the moment.

On the gaming front, my Playstation 2 is packed away in a box, in the dark. So, I have to make do with my computer. I can't play Odin Sphere or GTA: Vice City, which is quite sad. My Fifa 07 game disc won't read on my computers DVD drive anymore, I think its a problem with the drive, not the disc. The game that currently gives me the most joy (and the most frustration) is Football Manager 2007, the game annoys me, but I just can't put it down at the moment.

I heard that GTA: IV was delayed until 2008 today. If it's going to make the game better, then so be it. Atleast Halo 3 will get released. I can't wait until my birthday which is on September the 13th, I wonder what kind of goodies I'm going to get **crosses his fingers for a new cell phone and Xbox 360**.
