This whole Epic Mickey thing.....

I'm pretty sure you're familiar with Warren Spector.

If you're not, let me give you a brief introduction. He has made a lot of very good games (Dues EX being one of them).

A few years ago his studio was bought out by Disney. I (sadly) have never played any of his games and now probably never will.

Why you ask?

In case you missed it, he works for Disney. The same Disney that bought out Marvel. The same Disney that assaulted the world's population with atrocities like High School Musical and Bevery Hills Chiuaua. The same Disney that passes off racket like the Jonas Brothers and Hannah Montana as music.

This guy has made some of the most well-recieved and loved franchises in all of gamingdom. His career ends soon.

Not only is his next game starring Mickey Mouse, it's on Wii.

That may be good news to some people, but not to me. I look at stats. Wii Play was recently named best selling game of the last decade, and it's not even a game. It's an extra controller with a tech demo. And we all know how third-party Wii games usually fare. I have yet to play a Wii proper (my only true experience with a Wii was at a friend's house), but from what I have played of it's catalog, I did not like.

Mario Kart: I used to like kart racers, but this game single-handedly ruined my love of them.

Wii Sports: a tech demo. whoopee.

Wii Music: Let's pretend this does not exist. Wii Noise would be a better title.

So I think the legendary Warren Spector's career ends here. I will recieve a GameInformer tommorow with "Epic Mickey" as thier cover story. I'll let you know if my opinion changes.
