Let's be friends!!! :) I've noticed recently that I don't have a lot of friends and I've been on XBOX Live since 06. I have maybe like 50 or 60 friends but I've always been curious to know what kind of gamers are my Gamespot friends are. Now I just wanted to know if you guys and girls would like an extra friend. I'm an all around cool guy who just likes to play video games when he has the chance. Unfortunately, I've been so engrossed in going to school and work (at work right now, bored out of my mind). This past week has been heavy with midterms and I think it's safe to say that there will no more exams for a while. So yeah this is a long shot but I'm just hoping that maybe just maybe I can be friends with most of you if not all. My gamertag is DA4 6Doomzday6 (I want to change it before the year is over, any ideas?). If you send me your gamertag, I'll be glad to add you. "It's good to play together" whatever happened to that slogan? lol. "Jump In" is better though but I digress. So yeah I'm not sure what came over me. I'm genuinely just an affable guy who likes to meet knew people online and offline. Please don't be frightened, for I am not a weirdo lol and for those who believe that I am or believe that I'm a lame of some kind need not reply to this post. Thank you all. So am I the only one excited about this fall? Xbox Live is getting a whole new look this November. Netflix is coming to Xbox 360 and since I'm a crazy TV/Movie head, the chances of me ever leaving my home again are likely :). There are a great lineup of games releasing as well. Fable II, Gears of War 2, Fallout 3, Call of Duty: World at War, The Last Remnant and so many others. So many games so little time. I've become a member of the Gamefly community. I'm not sure how many people are but there are just some games that are really worth the purchase but I have saved so much money by switching to Gamefly to play the games that I am not willing to purchase. The last game that I purchased was Mass Effect. Gamefly is going to get me through this Fall's lineup of incredible 360 titles. The new Xbox Experience is coming November 19th and my 21st birthday is 3 days after that. Life is great. I hope you all have an awesome holiday season. In conclusion, I'd like to ask you guys what your most anticipated game for Fall/Winter 08 will be?

I got an email this morningfrom Xbox Customer Care which stated: "Good news, your Xbox console has been shipped! You can expect to receive it in 3-5 business days." The email also included the tracking number so I can keep track of my Xbox 360 duringthe wholeshipment process. I'm just so excited. I really got to catch up on a lot of things. Games, Xbox Live, Downloadable Content, XBL Arcade, My friends and just a handful of other things. (sighs) Did anyone catch E3? There are so many games being launched for the Xbox 360. I'm so eager to stack onto my current collection. I just want to play and get the best of the best games. Its gonna be an incredible holiday season with all those launch titles that'll be coming out then. Anyways yeah, just wanted to share my good news with everyone. So yeah ever since I got my Xbox 360 back in October, things have been going fine but then around January all the way up until this past Monday it has been making this buzzing sound. Everytime I played a game, I'd hear that buzzing sound almost everytime and it sounded like someone was drilling a hole in my console. So yeah I called 1800-4MYXBOX and even the guy was in shock at how loud the sound was. After I called them they told me that I'm gonna have to send that one in and they'll send me a refurbished one. I received a box from them with instructions in the mail. I put my console in the box and shipped it back. Now I'm supposed to be receiving the new refurbished console in the mail in like 2 weeks. I'm glad that I'm getting a new one hopefully it doens't give me any problems like my previous one. I don't think I'm missing out on anything in terms of new games. Xbox 360 is still fun and I enjoy playing on Xbox Live but they need to come out with new games. Every game that I'm anticipating for has TBA next to its release date which sucks. I just hope by the time I get my refurbished 360 which should be like in a couple of weeks, I'll have a game to play besides Halo2, Gears of War, Rainbow Six: Las Vegas, Call of Duty 3, and Crackdown all the time. Those are the only games I own. I'm a picky gamer lmao! See you guys around:P

Well I got the big 3!!! the top 3 hits that released for the 360 within the last few weeks. Gears of War, Rainbow Six: Las Vegas, and Call of Duty 3. Those games should keep me busy while we all wait for the new year and the swarm of awesome games that will come with it. Oh yeah and of course Halo 3 ;)

Yeah so I still haven't opened my 360 yet, and I still haven't played online yet. I'm kinda busy this week but I'll definitely make time to play again. So I was thinking November is gonna be a big month for 360 games. Gears of War and Call of Duty 3 release in two weeks and I get my paycheck this Thursday so I'll definitely be saving for those two games. Also I was wondering if Call of Duty would be something to get immediately and G.O.W; something to wait for because I heard that Call of duty has like 24 players online which seems INSAAAAAAANE:) and I've been a fan of C.O.D since C.O.D 2 came out last year. I was @ my friends house playing it online all the time. It sucked that every1 online preferred a sniper and I'd see so many people sniping which was lame but I got over it. Hopefully C.O.D 3 will be promising. Gears of War is definitely a......a BLESSING!:) After seeing that trailer with the locusts...I fell more in love with the game. I mean 2 player co-op seems WICKED:) and I heard that it will be 4v4 online (is this true?) which sounds promising. Well I can't decide, both games seem like "MUST HAVES" and then in a few more weeks on the 20th of November, Rainbow Six: Las Vegas is releasing. I liked Lockdown alot and I'm sure Vegas will be HOT! So anyways I just posted this blog because I'm feeling a little skeptical about my choice of getting these new games @ the same time but I don't care...its my money, don't have to depend on mom anymore...GREAT FEELING by the way:). So if you guys have any opinions on this, I'd gladly appreciate it? Got class early tomorrow...Thanks!

So I come home from a long day of school and work and the unexpected happened. I just walked into my bedroom and there by my desk I see a white box that looks like..."it". It turned out to beyep you guessed it, an XBOX 360. Finally after 11months after launch I get one. Now I'm the happiest man in the world!!!:)Thanks for all those who commented on the previous blogs. Always gave me hope. THANKZ!

Wow 161 days...thats almost half of a year. Anyways I wanted to post a blog up every month and I almost forgot to post one up this month for April. Its 11:55pm in New York and in 5 minutes it will be officially May 1st. April showers bring May flowers? Yea right. Its been so cold this past month and boring. All my friends are getting 360's. Today was my friends' birthday party and he turned 17. He's gonna get a 360 for his birthday. He's the only child with his lucky ass. Anyways he's debating on what games he should get. Nothing is really hyping him up. He might just get G.R.A.W and Fight Night Roound 3. I have to admit as much as I love Xbox. the 360 isn't really making any noise. Well I hope the games get better and I hope I finally get a 360 this summer. Pray for me guys. See you next month!:)

Well it has been 131 days since the launch of Xbox 360. A few days ago I finally packed up my Xbox and my copy of Halo 2 and tossed it deep in the back of my closet. It was actually getting boring and I only reached a level 37 because all of those modders and cheaters had ceased my dream of reaching a level 40 but oh well hopefully no one will cheat on Halo 3 but they'll probably find a way. Bungie had released so many updates and patches to fix Halo 2 but nothing worked. By the end of December the hackers had officially prevailed. And Halo 2 on XBL just went all downhill from there but people still find it addicitng. Anyways I recently checked out that Peter Moore video a few days ago and some hope had been rekindled:). I remember Mr. Moore sayin that in 4-6 weeks, people will be able to walk in and buy Xbox 360's at their local stores and thats good news because from April 7th to April 24th is my Easter break----17 DAYZ OFF!!!:D I hope I get one during my vacation. Soon I will be a part of next-gen gaming. Well that's about it for today...lata ya'll!:wink:

It's been about 90 or 91 days since the launch of Xbox 360 and I still don't have one.:(I underestimated the circumstances that would come along with not reserving one. I didn't reserve my Xbox and I still got it like a month after launch a couple weeks after Christmas but now I'm hearing alot of talk about how there aren't enough 360's that are being shipped to stores. I've accepted the reality of not getting a 360 before our next vacation in the spring. Hopefully I do get one by that time. Anyways I have one reserved now and the guy at Circuit City was like how I will probably get one around April. People say that Xbox 360 sales will tone down just enough for anyone to just go in and buy them by April or May the "earliest".:oThat sucks hearing that but hurts just as much when you say it. Oh well, pray for me guys. I have two friends that have it but I don't want to go to their houses and "freeload" plus I'm upset that I don't have my own thats why I won't play theirs.
