Thanks for the info, i'm kinda expecting to get burned. But some people will take it at face value and answer the question (he says hopefully) Still a bit of a noob with forums, guess it shows :?
Has anyone been frivolous enough to purchase the same game on both consoles? If so is the comparison noticeable? I realise its early days for the PS3 but i'm just curious as i own both (well i will from Friday :D)
I don't want to start a console bash here i just want to know how they compare to each and get it ' from the horses mouth ' so to speak :?
I was wondering if there is anyway to charge the pads without thbeing plugged directly into the console. I am due to pick mine up on Friday and i want the extra pads i have charged and ready to go :D
I personally liked the boomerang/batarang shape, and was a little miffed they hadn't changed the design. Don't get me wrong i love the old controller right from the original PS One controller and i liked the way they have modified its design throug the course of time. But i think this was as good as any release to have a complete overhaul of the pad. I'm kinda hoping they will use this design for the 'rumble' pads when they are released later this year. Either way i won't be too bothered as i appreciate the old design works a treat too :?
midnight opening at my local store so can hardly wait. Motorstorm and Resistance on order, Virtua Fighter arrived today just to tease!!! :( .Friday 23rd off work, this is something worth waiting for although its frakkin agonising!! :D
Tekken was leaps and bounds ahead of VF imho but took a dive when it brought Tekken Tag out. Since then we've had 2 more versions and its climbed a very slippery slope but its still not the best again. The Soul Calibur series holds that title for me. VF is very good but also i think its very restrictive in the character styles, sometimes the AI takes the . Tekken Dark Resurrection is the best of the bunch and i believe is available for download for a more than reasonable price. this bodes well for Tekken 6 when it finally arrives. I've also got my fingers crossed for Soul Calibur 4which is apparently in development.
In answer to your question visually i don't think a void can be filled so yes buy VF5, playability wise spend a meagre amount Tekken DR and wait for 6 to come out, but hey Namco have many beat-emups titles undder there belt and seem to have got the forumla of to a tee. :D
