I don't think there has been any proper damage to any CC accounts yet. So until then we can just assume that it's not as big as people are making it out to be.

So are you able to collect Trophies while playing singleplayer but how so if you have to be signed onto your PSN ID? So I guess Trophies are affected in that way? Hmm? You can earn singleplayer trophies and not be signed into PSN. You just need to sync them as soon as you're signed in though.
This may of very well been the hackers sole intention all along. For people to lose trust in Sony and for them to crash and burn. If thats the case, it's worked wonders so far. They may not even have any of our personal details at all.

For not even encrypting the data? I can understand that sometimes companies get hacked. There will always be a security hole. If you're a good company, you make the small and hard to find. Where I fault Sony is that they left it easy to hack AND didn't even encrypt the data.
There is no proof that the data was unencrypted. I am reading is far fetched speculations.
Indeed, people want to believe Sony is at fault here but they don't seem to have much proof at all. I guess it's easier to blame Sony than it is the mysterious one man hacker.
No issues with my card so far, but this is just a mess. I know I will be taking my info off of PSN as soon as it goes back up. If they were to start charging after this fiasco, then they can just forget it. I'll just stop playing online and will stick to single player games. I refuse to pay for LIVE and I am not going to pay for PSN.
