Because he's the only guy who's playable and wears a badass helmet, which probably has some tactical HUD behind it which helps the character (reason why it is worn). He is also always optimistic, he's such an average guy - but one of those average guys that people usually remember. His voice acting is quite good, he has a pretty cool voice and is usually funny. Also, just say the name Carmine and tell me that isn't cool. You'll be going to hospital in a coma. And seriously, some of you people are dumbasses, it'slike you don't pay anydamn attention to what's happening.Boobs who go "Carmines the guy who got owned by the Beserker", "Carmine is the name of the unit, not the character" and/or "Dom says 'I hate those Carmine guys'".
