Piracy.

Ever notice that some people say that rock albums from today will sell as much as Guna N' Roses' 'Appetite for Destruction' or Pink Floyd's 'Dark Side of the Moon'? Well, thanks to the internet, that can't happen. You see, back in the 70s and 80s, there was no means of mass communication. You couldn't access your favorite, lets see, your favorite bands latest single. If you wanted the song, you had to buy the album. Now days, if you want the song, you can use iTunes, or the Zune market place. Or, you could download it for free. There are a few advantages and disadvantages to downloading it for free.

Advantages: Its free. No money spent. It beats going to the store. You become a pirate!

Disadvantages: Band gets no money. No money = No new album. No album = No tour. No tour make Joey sad. :(. You don't know if its a virus. Your not a pirate.

A bit of an update to my actual life.

Microsoft, hands down had the best press confence. It had demos of 2 of my favorite games next instalation, Fable 2 and Gears of War 2. And, new software and addons (NETFLIX!!!!)

Nintendo: Fail. No hardcore games. And no new Zelda, Mario, or Kid Iarcus?

Sony: Dont care for them.

But the biggest news was....

GUNS N ROSES IN ROCK BAND 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111

I hate being grounded. I blame 3 things. Interfail Explorer (FIREFOX FTW), Dells, and Scientology (Just because).

To sum it up, I had to use IE on a dell cause my computer was taken away and i couldnt download firefox, So, it did what IE does best, get 702 virusus. End of story.

Hmm. Its 7:09 in the morning. What in God's name am I doing up?

I dunno either. But at like, 5:00 in the morn, I had an idea of an about me blog post.

So here it goes.

My name is Joey Bradfield, you can call me that, or Damaster, I will respond to both. I'm a self proclaimed 'Nerd', if you will. I'm 14, turning 15 due October. My parents split in 2000, and honestly, that was the best thing that they could of done for me. I love Soccer (Or footie, depends on your country of origin). I also play Bass Guitar, and maybe drums in the near future. I hate people who lie, and who are just plain jerks. I hate $cientology, and the fact that the USA government still reconizes it as a religion is beyond me. If I could vote, I would vote Republican. I sunburn easily.

And now for my Gamespot carrer. I joined June 25, 2005. For a year I was inactive. In 2006, I joined the greatest union ever, the Soccer Addict Union. It was my escape from the the face that nobody in my city played the beautiful game. There I met the coolest guys on Gamespot. I think, (And Iliastse, you should put this somewhere in the Union) I think SAU was the reason I kept coming back to gamespot, there were just so many people who loved the game, it was amazing.

Well, I should head to bed, its 7:42.
