How about fixing text inputs for the controller? I mean it takes me forever to type in 3 characters on it. It BLOWS. First things first, the text input is going to be the MAIN spoil for those that dont really want to hook up a USB keyboard to their PS3. Personally I dont want to because mine is on the other side of the living room. How do you fix text input? Two analog sticks. Left one works by pointing out a group of characters, right one selects the character. Like a telephone has ABC on the number 2. Pull say the right trigger and its enterd (R2). Big difference between a phone style lay out is the center position would be null as opposed to the number 1 on a phone. Left trigger (L2) can be used for back spacing. L1 and R1 used for cursor position. Want to change case or switch to symbols? Now start throwing in uses for the X O Square and Triangle button. Start would be enter as usual. I have personally tried this on a modded XBox (wasnt mine, and I will say nothing about its uses or legalities of it) and IMHO, this text input via controller went 100 times faster than the PS3 layout, and I would even dare to say if one had enough practice with it they may be able to type up to a hundred words per minute. Now we just need some 10 out of 10 games and the system will sell itself. Ninja Gaiden Sigma or God of War 3, Resident Evil 5, etc...
