I hardly blinked at the Resident Evil series. I played through the Silent Hill games multiple times with hardly a gasp. I was glued to F.E.A.R. until it was finished. I crushed the skulls of my enemies in Condemned. For movies, laughed at SAW and watched Hellraiser during romantic evenings with my girlfriend in college. Yet I still cannot bear to return to Fatal Frame... I may never go back to it. How you guys forgot it is beyond me. But at least your written list was more respectable than your video clips with haphazard snippets of uninspired action and a voice-over so cheesy I thought you were satirizing the games rather than paying homage to them. Shall we expect more of this level of "effort" with the loss of so many GameSpot veteran staff? Please tell me otherwise.
