I don't know if you guys agree with me, but I see a lot of overrated games, and I don't find that normal... How can GTA IV get 9.5 on the pc when it has such a bad graphical proficiency ?! Awfull weapons sounds and repetitive action ? How can a game that works on a 6 year old engine like Left 4 Dead 2 get a score of 9 ?? (and it's kinda boring after the first 2 levels.) How come that when a low budget title comes out, and it has dated graphics they tell you that, but there weren't any dated graphics warnings for Left 4 Dead, Starcraft 2, Dragon Age (awfull textures, charachters look like plastic dolls, the blood effect is hilarious, etc), and many others. So, bottom line, why do most of the games that have high production values get high scores here ? Does gamespot get extra money from a positive review ? From a 50 - 100 million dollar budget is there 1 or 2% reserved for a positive review that would boost the game sales ? I think there is, and I really want to know your opinion, fellow gamers. Cheers
Why did the moderators closed three threads on the forum about this subject ? A guy that calls himself Wasdie told me they have opinions, and I have opinions. Until now, I wasn't able to post and sustain my opinion in any way. I didn't bash gamespot's reviewing, I just asked the opinion of someone else. So if in this blog, I can't SPEAK MY MIND, as it says up there, there is no more freedom of speech. Thanks
