What I want to know is can you start an xbox live account without a subscription card, and just signup with a credit card?

Is downloading stuff like halo maps free?

If they are, can you download them without paying for the gold membership?

If you need a silver subscription, can you still get a silver subscription?

or do you just need to have it connected to the internet?

it would be cool to see a live news station covering your crimes on live tv,,, think about if while you were on rampages, you see a news van pull up, out pops a reporter and camera man, and the square map turns into a live feed of what there broadcasting,,, you cuold see yourself killing in all its glory on channel 3 news,,, if you dont want to see it, take the new woman hostage and kill the camera man, problem solvedDeedup
