76c sure sounds hot to me, maybe not for a gpu, but a cpu thats pretty hot. make sure the HSF is on right and you dident use to much thermal compound.. all you need is a small dab ( think half a grain of rice)
all you need to do is install your old card uninstall the ati drivers "maybe use driver cleaner to make sure they ae all the way uninstalled" install your new card, boot into win install new drivers. or you can try to boot into safe mode f8 on the win screen

i dunno if you can get the vcore up with your board then its possible.... i can only get 1.32 vcore with my board and still get my 5000+ BE to 3.1ghz idle at 30c and under load 50c
That was merely just showing that gamespot is biasd to the max.
If a game is not on 360 they don't give it a good score. If u don't beleive me go look at 360 games scores compared to wii and ps3 then come back and talk to me.

wii's only been out almost a year. all of its good games are in dovelpment. the only good 360 games come out just as fast as wii's games do
