I am not trying to be rude, but why are you trying to overclock that card ? I really do not think an overclock will help such a low end GPU.millerlight89Unfortunately I dont have a spare 100$ or more to throw around. Have to make do with what I can, even if it means scraping the barrel for a few more fps lol.
Thanks for the reply. Would you happen to have any recommendations on software? I thought that modifying the voltage could only be done through hardware tweaks, not through software. That used to be the case, it seems everyday with modern cards though there is some kind of utility that allows you to modify the voltage of your card through software. Unfortunately I'm not too knowledgeable about overclocking utilities for Nvidia cards. Perhaps some Googling around will find you something, or one of the other users here can recommend you a utility. Thats unfortunate that you dont have a utility in mind, as I have been unsuccessful in my search for such a tool. Only methods I can find involve directly modifying the GPU, I cant seem to find any software that would work. :([QUOTE="Dantheman102100"][QUOTE="Marfoo"]Artifacts don't always occur just because of heat. Errors could also be occuring because there isn't enough voltage to sustain the clocks. The only way you're going to be able to push further is to find software that can modify the amount of voltage you are pushing through GPU.Marfoo

I'm trying to overclock my Nvidia 9500 GT 512MB GPU. I know how to do it but I keep getting artifacts even though the card is at a cool 35C. From what I see, most people with this card can get it to run at 60C or warmer. I'm wondering if there is something I'm missing so I can pump more power out of this card.
I've currently got it OCed at 800/1900/1000 and it is at 33C right now. Can I push it farther? If so how would I go about doing that?
