Thanks to a $100 gift card for any Blu ray Player purchase at Wal Mart, I was finally compelled to purchase a PS3. The only downsize was that all they had in stock when the sale hit was the 40 GB PS3. I hesitated for a second but I figured backwards compatibility and a larger hard drive wasn't worth missing out on getting the $100 giftcard. Plus, I can just upgrade the 40GB drive easily with a 160GB one. Instead, I used that extra money to get a Dual Shock 3 controller and a retail copy of Warhawk, because I want a decent PSN multiplayer game and a BluTooth headset. I also rented MGS4 that day also, hoping that the multiplayer would give the game some lasting value after I beat my way through the story. Too bad the multiplayer isn't anything special, maybe a tad clunky.

Now it's just the minor wait for Resistance 2 and the long wait for Final Fantasy XIII and its Versus counterpart. Socom 3 also looks promising too.
