Stupid post. The epitome of what a poster should never do...but this is SW.

1. You can't "BET" a game will look better on your console of choice, thats downright fanboyism. Are you a developer?

2. You can't say games will ALWAYS look better on 360. Where's proof?

3. Oblivion, Burnout, DMC4, COD4...why don't these games look better on X360? hasn't that killed your whole arguement?

4. X360 best looking games, Mass Effect - Gears - Bioshock [ ALL USE UE3 ] and a PS3 game [ same engine ] looks the same and in some cases even better [ UT3 ]

5. Uncharted argueably looks better than ALL the games I listed there^^ and thats not just MY opinion but that of others [ including REVIEWS ]

6. Until I see a 360 game thats out or yet to come out that looks better than GT5: P, FFXIII, Uncharted, Killzone 2..

The format war is pretty much decided now, Blu-Ray won. Playstation 3 had a lot to do with this. While PS3 hasn't sold as many units as Xbox 360 or Wii overall it has allowed Blu-Ray players to outselt HD-DVD players by default.

This was Sony's ploy all along. It was a big gamble and for the longest time I thought it was a stupid bet but it will pay off for them in the long run now that Hollywood has their back. PS3 will start to sell much better the more Hollywood pushes the Blu-Ray format...which they have been a lot more lately and will do much more in the near future.

I hate to say it but this gaming machine will more than likely surpass the Xbox 360 because of movies, not games. Any gaming purist should be a little miffed about the whole thing but so long as developers start churning out good games for PS3 I'm all in.
