It's a **** movie created to make money. There are no similarities between the manga and the film, except the names of the characters and the Dragon Balls.
Nuclear weapons can apply pressure on other countries. But, today, it's stupid, because this kind of weapon is totally obsolete. Why ? Because we can't use it. If a country use nuclear weapon, another country will use nuclear weapon too. There is countries who use nuclear weapons to be independent of United State. For exemple, France (my country, that's why I I make a lot of mistakes, sure). Why ? I think it's an old habit, when General de Gaulle was against the USA, because American people wanted to protect the world with communist. So other countries can't have nuclear weapons, because (maybe) the USA want to be alone to be powerful.
