[QUOTE="DarkChiefGaiden"]Yeah, but when these demands are made by middle-aged white males holding signs with Obama sporting a Hitler mustache, it's hard not to categorize them as radicals. Where was all this anger when Bush was in office? airshocker

Apparently you never watched MSNBC when Bush was president.

Just because people are more angry at Obama now doesn't make them radical. There are legitimate issues with him that the mainstream America does not lik

Yeah , I have no qualms with people who disagree with his policies. My column was about all the birther idiots and those like them who believe that he is intentionally destroying our country. Disagreeing with his policy is one thing, but you can disagree with him and still acknowledge that he's no Hitler

There's nothing radical about wanting lower taxes, less government spending and a smaller government.

[QUOTE="DarkChiefGaiden"]you're not all far-right wingers but you can't deny that there is a growing part of your party that is extreme.airshocker

Then why do you label all of us as far-right wingers? Most tea partiers I know are part of the Taxpayer unions and they're comprised of Republican and Democrats alike.

Oh, well I lied, I did waste my time a little bit. I stopped when you called us all far-right wingers. That's not true, however.

Now I'm really done wasting my time.

Just like the fact that there are far left wingers [moveon.org]. There's two sides to every issue.

That's true and the equivalent of Obama's perception would be the 9/11 truth movement but the difference is that was kept at the fringe whereas mainstream Republicans believe, or at least they say they do, that Obama wants terrorists to defeat us and all that other nonsense.

I don't think that the Republican part has shifted further and further to the right. What about Scott Brown in CT (a heavily blue state that was Kennedy's territory]? How is Obama appeasing to terrorist you might ask? Holding trials in NYC. Stomping ground for terrorist.Hemmaroids
Scott Brown is from arguably the most liberal state in the country.

Attack part of their land due to ourreligiousbeliefs and then try to build a church where you attacked. It would get burned down within seconds. Our country is a **** Just say no. Oh but waittt! We wouldn't want to offend them oh no! Even though they would burn our flag without thinking twice.

So you're holding the United States of America to the same standard as a backward theocracy like Saudi Arabia? =/

Here's a column I wrote that was just published in my school paper...thoughts?

I didn't think it was well written, it seemed to mostly involve you insulting those who disagree with the mosque and blaming "the right/conservatives" for it all. There is a valid debate to be had on this, as there is on every subject, and disregarding and entire section of people because some of them say things you don't agree with is never a good idea. As for my own views on the matter, I'm more concerned with the beliefs and allegiances of the people who would go to the mosque, not those of the people creating it. Some radical muslims may see this as being a tourist attraction for them to celebrate 9/11, their own version of ground zero. As long as the creators of the mosque can make it clear that extremists will never be allowed and that the building is only for the normal majority of muslims (and enforce it as well), I'm ok with the construction proceeding.

I insulted those who disagree with it because of the reasons they have voiced for their opposition to it. Watch this commercial and tell me how I can't insult those behind it? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjGJPPRD3u0
