Wow!!

Holy crap, I can't believe my grammar and spelling was so bad a few years ago.

... Yeah.

Overlooked Games.

Okay, i gotta start this by saying that this is my first journal entry. Yay!!!!!!!!!(It may include a lot of Grammar and Spellinfg mistakes but I'm in a hurry right now)

Now getting on topic, You may have seen a lot of videogames that are really popular within the main stream crowd(Halo, Grand Theft Auto, etc). Well, those games deserve all the glory they get since they are wonderful games. Not everybody is that lucky though. Yesterday I went to EB games to buy a new game. It was a choice between Metroid Prime 2 or Skies of Arcadia:Legends. After a lot of thinking and planning I decided to go with Skies.

Why Skies you ask?

Well, first I heard really good things about the game like the ship battles and the really cool characters. Besides that I didn't know anything about the game. Was it turn based or action? Were there any voice overs? How long was it?. I bough the game for one good reason, it was a overlooked game and I felt that if I didn't buy there, I will never find it again.

Another game that made me think like that was Alien Hominid, another really good game that got overlooked. It was a really awesome game but no one bought it because no one knew it even existed

What I'm saying is that there are a lot of video games that are excellent and if I can say it better than the mainstream ones(I'll take 20 Alien Hominids over Enter the Matrix any day) but no ones buy them for some reason. It makes me sad when I check the sales chart and I see that a crappy game like Enter the Matrix has sold 6 million copies when a good one like Alien Hominid has only sold 80k copies.

I sure hope that stops in the future and people open their eyes before buying crap.

Bye!

South Park Season 5 DVD!

Well, I just bought the South Park Season 5 DVD and I have to say I'm really loving every bit of it! This set contains many of my favorite episodes like the classic "Scott Tennorman Must Die", "Kenny Dies"(even though I'm sad that they killed Kenny) and " Butter's Own Episode". The special features are really nice but the episodes themselves are the main attraction. Be sure to pick up this DVD set. It's the best one yet. If you are a South Park fan and you don't have this one yet, then shame on you.
