My Wii does this EXACT same thing, it make 2 beeps every few seconds, and it sound like light switching on and off noice between that and like you stick a leaf in a fan, only when you put a disk in, this should NOT be normal, yet no gameplay differs....

If I send it in, I would want a data transfer, as i have VC games and stuff.
