should i get RE4 or super paper mario...im not really into fps games but everyone says RE4 is sooo good, so im not really sure. it doesnt have to be one of these 2, infact anything to get me through the summer

I play Counter Strike and Metroid games but am not a FPS fiend like many others. I hate console based shooters, RE4 got me to play through my analog stick aiming issues because the game was well worth playing through. I've played both games and can attest that both games are well worth the time and money. Both have their plusses and minus's though. Buy RE4 first (to show support for third party developers) and then save up for Paper Mario.

You won't regret it.

Personally, I don't trust the source, but in the end he might have hit on something. Rockstar has since announced Bullie and Tabble Tennis for the Wii. Table Tennis runs on the GTA4 engine, Rockstar may have offered Nintendo a huge carrot (GTA4 for Wii) and Nintendo might be considering it. We just don't know at this time, but to count the rumour out as being possible is kinda silly too all things considered here. Nintendo could also petition the review board along with Rockstar to get this game re-evaluated in all regions.

No its that its got so pathetic itself that we have to do something to make people stop buying it because there is nothing to buy it for except for sequel after sequel which gets quite old esp with last gen gamecube hardware next gen is now and PS3 and 360 are next gen along with PC of course...

Funniest thing I've seen all day... LOL... What exactly has the PS3 or 360 given us that we haven't gotten before? I see no new genres... I see a lot of copycat games on both systems... and the games play the same way they always played. The Wii is popular because of things like Wii Sports... Sure it's a simple sports game but it's so simple that anyone can play it. There is nothing even close to being like it on the 360 or PS3... so in reality the 360 and PS3 are holding the industry back from innovating... you'll get more Ratchet and Clanks and Jak and Daxter games, GTA, GT etc. new series will avoid any risks and go to the system with the lowest cost to buy into. If a developer brings out a 20$ million game on the 360 or PS3 and it flops... the developer could easily go under, especially if the game is something new and never tried before. So why risk your company when these fanboys are buying up sequels in droves? The biggest innovations right now are taking place on the DS. It took awhile for the games to flow on that system but now the floodgates are wide open and we're seeing some of the best stuff on any system ever come out for it. The Wii will get the DS effect... sooner or later you'll realize that there is something on the Wii you just can't live without and if you're too ignorant to try it out... well that's your loss! I'll gladly try out any game on any system if it interests me. Hell, Gameboy games are still tons of fun...

This thread is pretty useless... the Wii is still getting one of the most violent games ever made, it has several M rated games already and it offers the largest variety...

I was thinking of my recent ps3 purchase and thought if they lost the war would

itbe so bad ? They are still going to make great games for it even if in 2 years from now its still trailing. Look at the xbox 1 and gamecube, they still made great games from those consoles and they both lost the war by a landslide. Winning the console war is nothing but bragging right and all 3 systems will continue to shine.

Problem is that if they don't sell more systems then the Xbox and GC did last gen... they are going to lose a ton of money and the gaming division will come under review... They need to start selling games with systems as well.. so far the tie in ratio is laughable at best.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma is another example of our ability to attract an excellent and exclusive game library from third parties.

This game is not exclusive (was launched on the Xbox several years ago) and it bombed in Japan... so what is your point?

No official announcements have been made in regards to a price drop anytime soon. I imagine it will be sometime in 2008 that we will be able to pass the savings on to the consumer in the from of a price drop. If you want a Playstation® 3 just buy one now, don't believe rumors or speculation please.

LOL... You sir are funny... if you really were a Sony rep... trolling the System wars is pretty sad... Wouldn't you have more important things to do... like maybe... firing your marketing team and hiring a new team that wasn't off in la la land? The PS3 is in a sore spot right now... it's not beating the PS2 launch sales (contrary to Sony's crazy way of thinking). We have launch sales from both systems and we can easily see the system is not selling as well as the PS2... except maybe in Australia but even that won't last long... So yes your PS3 will be forced to drop it's price and Sony will continue to lose billions and this will happen sooner then Sony would like... but you are right... this 200$ price drop is a rumor and a bad one at that considering it started with some guy talking about Canada's EBGames trade in deal.
