I'm starting a Bleach fanfic entitled A Bount Named Lyra and it's about how the Spirit Realm was 1,000 years ago. There's the Bounts and the Soul Reapers, who dominate much of the Spirit Realm. The Bounts are ruled by Queen Michiru of the Kagero Clan, and the Soul Reapers are ruled by that old guy. The Captain of Squad 1. Queen Michiru has 5 daughters: Akane, Midori, Sakura, Misora, and Lyra. Only Princess Lyra is a sad Bount and she doesn't really like sucking out people's souls. Princess Misora is her best friend, and would do anything to help Lyra be happy. So one day, Lyra decides to go to the human world, where she gets into some sort of trouble, and is saved by a handsome young samurai. She falls in love with him, of course. But the samurai dies and goes to the Soul Society, where he trains to become a Soul Reaper. He asscends in ranks quickly because he was a samurai when he was alive. And not just any samurai, the son of the shogun. But then the samurai is appointed head of a mission to seek out and kill the bounts, and then when he arrives there, he finds out Lyra is the girl he had saved so long ago. And I can't tell you the rest, but it will probably end in a double suicide. ;) Come to think of it, all my fanfictions are about romantic tradgedies!!! My Spiral one isn't really because no one dies, one of my Naruto ones is extremely dramatic, and the oter Naruto one wasn't supposed to be when it started out, but then it did kinda turn into one... Do I have a problem? Nah, it's probably just because I've been boyfriendless for a long time and my true love dumped me, so I get off by writing these romances stories where the lovers die. LOL, it's almost like saying that if I can't be happy, then neither can anyone else. But I would never do that... ;)
