Here is my theory right now xbox is out selling Playstation probably because people for the last three months knew that ps4 pro was coming out. The many many leaks told people to wait.
Just like next year when the Project Scorpio is close to coming out people will stop buying xbox one in favor of the next big thing.
Look at it this way why would you by a system when a more powerful one is about to come out.
@MrHanky35: There are still people who order from rifts website who are still waiting ( not amazon) who are mad that they did not get theirs yet. That is not old news that is till happening. I go to a college where 6 of my friends who have per order theirs to use for experiments have yet to get there from there the website it self (not amazon). There are mad however that they have been forgotten about while others are shipping as normal.
next it does not hurt VR at all. You are basically saying one company is VR and not is not true at all.

are ALL VR DEVICES and they can care the touch as well if not better then RIFT.
lastly how is a develops bad Americans simply because they do not want to back a guy that goes against something they believe in. Developers are not anti Trump or for Clinton. They feel the way he is handling it is wrong is all.
all in all you cant say pulling support for the rift is VR killer, That like saying because there is no support for the Wii U will kill the Gaming Industry
It is palmer luckey right to vote for who ever he choice to vote for, rather it Trump or Clinton. The things i think the devs is up set with is the fact that he is sh*t posting. Again that is he right to support him in what ever way he would like.
Also it is also the industry's right to drop support to any system they please for any reason they want. The fact is the both have the right to do what they want. to stop support to oculus does not mean they are not going to make money on other systems I.E PlayStation vr or htc vive. In my opinion both htc vive and PlayStation vr are better products.
Oculus does have a lot dev kits out in the wild but not alot of the actual system. People are still waiting on there systems to come in the mail and a lot have canceled them do to the fact of the length of time waiting

@caseyrybek: what you said is all true and i was going to by an xbox slim because i own a ps4. But when they said they was going to use the more power Scorpio i pick to wait for that system. So I understand what you are saying. i just want to know what statements you made.
@caseyrybek: with the article what point are you trying to make. Is it that the xb Scorpio games wont work on xbox one or that fact that it could kill all old consoles and foci people to upgrade?
@scottwilkins: that is true but the controls are up to the user(s), some people like a keyboard and mouse and could argue that it is better then a hand held controller
As I read the comments I noticed that everyone or mostly everyone is calling this a bad thing due to the Apple / android life cycle. If you watch the press conference then you will know that the main reason that Microsoft is making this console is because they want to add VR support.
Sony ps4 does have VR support but as some developers has stated before, vr is better on neo.
This won't be for everyone and both Sony and Microsoft knows this. This is why they made sure all games will work on there respected systems across the board. When adding VR to the mix, you will still have to buy a VR ready pc or a high in pc that have the appropriate specs need to play VR.
So it is really no differents from pc to console except the price.
Xbox live charge to get on line weather it for Netflix, f2p games or what ever. Sony will be charging for on line play but will NOT be charging for f2p web browser netfilx and things of that nature
