Microsoft today announced a new partnership with MemoryFoam that will see the pillow manufacturer become one of the first to create Microsoft-licensed pillows to address recent concerns regarding the privacy of Kinect users.

The product will come in 5 different colors and 3 different shapes to offer compatibility with each player's living room. A limited-time collector's edition will also be made available for pre-order in the coming weeks that will offer an alternative design made out of leather upholstery. Official pricing and release information will be announced in the coming weeks, though MemoryFoam promised its technology will bring "advanced privacy solutions" to gamers.
Microsoft currently assures gamers a full suite of privacy settings built directly into the console itself, but the pillow is designed specifically for potential-buyers who still remain skeptical. With the easy-to-use Xbox One Kinect Pillow, all a player must do is set the Kinect on a stable surface and gently place the pillow over the top of it where, using top-of-the-line vision blocking and sound absorbing technology, it will prevent any uncomfortable information from leaving the bedroom.
Microsoft has not yet announced any other first- or third-party peripherals for the Xbox One but said earlier this week that more details on accessories for the platform will be shared next month during the 2013 Electronic Entertainment Expo.
Microsoft's E3 2013 press briefing is slated for Monday, June 10th.
