I want to pick up a freeloader disk so that I can import wii games that take ages to come out over here in the UK, but have been hearing mixed reports about their usefulness.

I've herd that their has been an update to the wii that rendered the device useless, is this true?

If so can I restore my wii to the original firmware version and still play new games?

I'm at work right now so i cant check these things myself, but would appreciate any answers you guys could give me.

Thanks

The school I work at is considering buying a wii for games such as big brain academy for little starter activities and such like. However for this to be effectivly used it would have to be put onto a board via a projector.

My questions is would this work with the wii console?

I presume it would but not having used a wii I know little about them. It would be connected to the projector using scart or componnent if tht helps with any answers you could provide.

Any answers that are helpful will be welcomed.

Ive really tried to do this over the summer but it beat me. The sheer lenght of Halo 1 coupled with the crazy amount of times ive played through it make it feel stale and a chore more than an enjoyable experiance. Halo 2 never really wowed me, even thought the levels where you play the chief are generally good the arbitor levels are lame and so is he.

Im just hoping that halo 3 will be able to capture my interest like Combat Evolved did. I would hate to see my fav game franchise slip any further down the road halo 2 led it down.

If you quit cause of a lack of incentive to raid, but now beleive that your new found love for the lore is enough to re-energise your interest give WoW another chance.

Halo 1: The universe Halo was set in was a very unique and interesting place to set a story. Huge outdoor levels, fully intergrated vechicles, co-op through the full game, excellent music, fun multiplayer, enemies that were exciting and fun and the game as a whole was nicely paced in the campaign.

Halo 2: More cinematic, expansion on the halo universe, a more epic premsise in defending earth, introduction of new vechicles and weapons, duel wielding. Also the multiplayer was fine tuned to console shooter perfection.

Well MS have finally gotten round to screwing me over with their shoddy console. I purchased mine at european launch and have always thought I was lucky that my xbox has never broken after hearing about the huge problems launch consloes have had. However i have relised im one of the unlcuky ones. My console is long out of warrenty, especially how the 1 year extention only applies to  the USA and Canada and it finally broke on Xmas eve.

I have put off getting it fixed due to the holiday period but finally got round to phoning MS up today. I now find that I have to shell out 106 euro's for a repair on a console that has potentially been faulty since I purchased it. Im really pissed off as I dont have near that money to spend on my 360. Its just gone the holidays so im broke, im still in collage and everyone at my part time job has been layed off so now I have no income.

I must of spent over £1000 on my 360 over all, and MS still treats customers like crap. Thoroughly pissed off!
