Yap, FlaminDeath... Practice makes perfect ;)

About my previous post... I forgot to add that I prefer the "inside" type of fear over the "monster popping out of the box."

Well, I've read through the whole topic (yay for me), and I'm glad that you respect our opinions. I must say that I respect your opinion too.

Regarding fear... There are 2 ways of "fear" - one is the basic "jump out into your face," which you can sometimes see on websites - first something normal, then suddenly an ugly face pops up (usually with some weird and annoying sounds).

The 2nd type is the deeper type... It makes you afraid in inside.

F.E.A.R. is a nice example of this 2nd type. The 1st type would be the HL zombie level (I absolutely hate the fast zombies... You hear em, can't see em, and suddenly they're behind your back!). Also, I absolutely hate invisible guys.

I'm not sure if facing fear head-on is the best way to get you "on better terms with creepy games," but it probably is A way, even if it isn't the best.

Regarding blood and gore... It isn't always a bad thing - depends on the game. Sometimes it really adds to the atmosphere.

But of course, there will always be games which overdo it (can't say I object tho :P ), tho I can't think of one from top of my head.

Oh yeah, and I know you've been told this before - but you're mixing up disturbing and creepy. Disturbing is the last paragraph (before this one) - overdoing stuff. I remember seeing a couple of those kind of games, but I can't recall their names.
