I am really excited with this new system. I mean, mostly at the prospect of making money off a video game I would enjoy nonetheless, for items I wouldn't use myself anyways. So what if they take 30%, as long as there isn't a sub fee for keeping their servers and cs running...
Thank the Box Office for this trend, as they were the first to sell the stories in their entirety with more and more previews that resemble short version of their movies instead of teasing and sparking interest to discover more. In the fast food era, we get fast pre-digested entertainment. Super-size my gaming, please.
I don't think this problem is specific to the gaming industry, or to this particuliar case. To me, it is more about a social misbeheavor that has grown with the popularity of the internet. It is not because you are at home, hidden behind a keyboard and a screen that you can unleash a world of hatred on people. The fact is, almost everyone hating on the web wouldn't be so virulent if they had that same person standing before them. Sad world we live in.
Have to say that I was a big fan of the series, until 4 happened. I especially didn't like driving and shooting. felt clumsy, slow and dull. Wish they go back to San Andreas, was the best.
So glad this series is coming back! I can't help but to smile at people afraid of being afraid though. I mean, why would the dev change a successful recipe into something completely different? That doesn't make much sense to me. Wait and see, I bet this one is going to be a killer! Max Payne is an incredible character, can't wait!
