Aloha Everyone! :)
Have you ever gone to a store where there is to be a DS Download Station to have the system not being on or not even in the store? Reason is, I went to a GameStop the other day to try and download some demos onto my DS so I can try them out since there was a Starbucks next door. I tried to locate the server to download to the demo to find nothing. I asked the clerk, how can I download demos onto my system? Clerk replied we no longer have the system here anymore or the Nintendo rep took the old demo cart to be replaced later. So I go to another GameStop to be in the same predicament to see that the store also is in the same boat. I tried a Walmart to see that they didn't even have the system on, and the clerk didn't know how to work the Download Station System since it is completely different than the DS System. Go to a Best Buy to find out that an employee took the demo cart since the demos on it are for old games. I go to a Kmart to see that they don't even have one, despite the store has a sign for the Download Station. Try another Walmart to see the demos are for old games like Brain Age, Metroid Prime Hunters, and Tetris.
Therefore...Nintendo what is the point to have a Download Station if the store doesn't have an update copy or even have have the Download Station System, or have demos that are of upcomming games? All I see is that it can hurt sales of your games for those who may want to try out the game before buying it, and make some people a profit by selling the demo carts on eBay. So I ask you...why not bring back the demo units of the DS with the store being able to put an actual game in to try. Yes...I know some stores have demo DS systems, but not all of them.
Thanks for stopping and have a wonderful weekend! :)
