JRPG collection contains a few of the following titles (just to list some on ps):

-Xenogears

-Alundra 1 & 2
- Suikoden
-Lunar 1

-Vagrant Story

-Persona 2

-Legend of Dragoon

-Tales of Destiny 2

The list goes on though. I own most ps2 jrpgs that were released in NA. Missing a bunch still though... T_T

I also own a Sega Master system 2, a NES, a SNES that are all in their original boxes. :)

I caved in and gave my copy to a girl at work because she kept asking me for a whole week if she could have it .. Now I am regreting that choice very very much.

Never...ever...cave in to a girl. Actually don't cave into anyone into 'giving' them a game. One of my coworkers insists on me lending him Xenogears. Yeah right. I know the story. I lend a person one of my epic games and then I have to go chasing after it 'Can I have my game back', 7 months later, and still nothing.

If it's not someone you're close with, you can lend a game, but I recommend doing a 'lending exchange'. When I was a kid, I lended Mario 2 and got Bart Simpson vs the world. I never got my game back, but at least I had a game as compensation.

The types are too different. It's hard to compare.

DMC 3 is very sexy though. hmm *drools*

I personally suggest FFX. I think the story is more captivating. Dragonquest VIII is fun, no doubt about it. But for a balanced game where graphics, story and gameplay are nifty, you should definitely go with FFX.

Please skip FFX-2. You're better off imagining the story by yourself than ruining it with such a mediocre game. (The system was alright but it felt like preparation for a runway show).

Evolution is necessary. Please don't diss the source. That's how life appeared on earth. Trial and error.

Atari, Sega, Turbo Grafx16, Famicom (and others) are not errors but the way to the future. You should all be grateful even if you weren't even born when the first consoles came out. RESPECT YER ELDERS!

What really amuses me these days, are people so stuck up on graphics. In the end even I don't care about the bells and whistles if the gameplay sucks.

They might suck in your opinion, but I also think that the argument is not such a valid one if you haven't been exposed to older gen consoles. Sorry to be so blunt, but its time for a reality check.

I'm not here to tell you how much better I am than you because I played and owned those consoles. I'm simply expressing how tired I am of people saying a game rules simply because the graphics are nice. Gameplay matters! Just like I don't understand people who pay money for already leveled up chars on MMOs.
