You have the two links in the wrong order. At first, it gave me the wrong impression, but after I looked at the dates I realized that you are just trying to spin the story to put it into your favor.

Anyway, you can have something that isn't needed, but it can still be awesome (shoes, for an example). Gran Turismo fans might not necessarily be changing opinions. They could be the same opinion, but you just misinterpret it.

Then I would still go for PS3 > 360 > Wii.

The PS3 has games that most entice me, even though the 360 has a very nice line-up. The Wii has some select few, but most are just shovelware or Mario spin-offs.

I personally like motion blur. It makes it feel more realistic or 'immersive.'

But "pretty good for a console game"[when referring to textures]? They're great for a console game if you compare it to GeoW2 or Halo. On a more sarcastic note, it's motion blur doesn't cover up textures becausethere aren't any lacking textures to be had. :P

The PS2's vast library was focused mainly on casual gamers. The 360 also has a pretty vast library, but it is mostly for hardcore gamers instead. The Wii fit your comparison perfectly, being both graphically and technically inferior, yet it's success is based pretty much entirely on the fact that it is easier for a casual gamer to pick up.

You don't necessarily know that the OP is going to miss out on games that he would like on the 360, because you don't know his personal choices and if there are any more good games coming out for the 360 anyway (I tried to use this loosely as it was just an example, not that I think that no good games will come out on the 360). If the OP thinks that there is not much more for him with one console, he still reserves that right to sell it back even if you disagree.
