Today was the day, a day of judging, a day of patience and hardship~ I played Battlefield 2142 today. I waited 8 hours to download Battlefield 2142 today, I Enjoyed the game alot when the servers werent lagging horribly but I enjoyed it.

I was surprised to see "Battlefield 2142 Demo!" on the gamespot banner when I logged on, I didn't even know there was a release date for the demo yet so obviously i hopped right on to downloading it~ First from fileplanet at 400 kbs. It failed to complete and left me with a DLMPartial file. I went to Fileshack and waited One hour and twenty-minutes to start downloading and it was completed within an hour and a half. Once downloaded, I patiently installed it and watched the opening video, Gritting my teeth hoping it would run playably on my pc (It does)

I get into the first game after 6 minutes of optimizing shaders and I am enveloped into a warzone of mechs, furuistic tanks, fast speeding buggies and the advanced war fighter or the future, The classes not customizable in the demo, still fine but would have liked atleast a small amount of customability to the demo to get a taste of what I will be buying on release day.

Pleased with the surprise of the demo and the fun factor~ While displeased on the amount of lag caused by over-flooded servers.
