I am in a bit of a roll in doing daily blogs these last few days and well I have another one for you guys today. Yesterday, I spent some time deciding the nominees for each of my 22 categories in the Best of Awards that will occur mid-December. As you can see from the blog title, this is the first draft because certain categories can change in a space of a few weeks because of the fact that I haven't played a lot of several games I want to play like Mass Effect and Asssassin's Creed. So once I delve into them and that I will have a final draft of my nominees sometime before the actual awards occur. Anyway here are the nominees for the first 11 categories and let me know what you think:

Game of the Year: Okami, Super Mario Galaxy, God of War II, Eternal Sonata, Halo 3

Best Wii Game: Super Mario Galaxy, WarioWare Smooth Moves, Super Paper Mario, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption

Best 360 Game: Eternal Sonata, Halo 3, Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, Bioshock

Best PS2 Game: Okami, God of War II

Best PC Game: Portal, Team Fortress 2, Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar

Best Nintendo DS Game: The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Elite Beat Agents, Final Fantasy III

Most Overrated Game: Final Fantasy XII, Halo 3

Disappointment of the Year: Bioshock, Blue Dragon, Final Fantasy XII

Best Role-Playing Game: Eternal Sonata, The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion: The Shivering Isles, Blue Dragon

Best Shooter: Halo 3, Bioshock, The Darkness, Call of Duty 4

Best Action/Adventure: God of War II, Okami, Super Mario Galaxy, Heavenly Sword

Again, this is just the first draft and feel free to give me your suggestions on any other awards or nominees etc. The other 11 categories will be shown in tomorrow's blog so stay tuned for that. So until next time, toodles!

OT: I see that the processing problem still hasn't been fixed. Also, I should be getting my 360 for sure tomorrow, as its only been sort of handled etc yesterday for some reason even though the seller despatched it last Thursday (got an email to prove it) for next working day delivery. Probably because its the busy time of the year.
