Yes, earlier on today I got my copy of the collector's edition of Gears of War at my local GAME store, because I pre-ordered the game there and also, it seems that the collector's edition was the only version they were selling of the game but I could've been wrong.
I have played about a hour of it or so and a match online and all I can say is: it is a great game with amazing graphics but it takes a bit getting used to certain things and that, according to me but I got the hang of it.
I only played the one ranked match in Execution mode and I am really looking forward to playing more online because it was a lot of fun and I got a kill in it with the chainsaw, which was pretty cool.
I am not sure how far I am in the campaign in terms of where I am at in Act 1 but I am pretty sure it is near the end of it. The lancer in the game is pretty awesome and the chainsaw bayonet is one cool feature of it.
I will have a video blog giving you more thoughts on this game and Smackdown probably tomorrow or Sunday so stay tuned for that and until then, I am going to kick some locust ass with Fenix and the gang.
Also, that On The Spot show yesterday was dead long because they were waiting for the other show to start but it was probably the longest On The Spot (normal editions of it now not the marathon PS3 and Wii ones) that I have seen.
I can safely say now that the demo of Trauma Centre: Second Opinion done by Greg Kasavin on the show really interested me and actually sold me into getting that game whenever it comes out here because I don't think it is out here in launch, which sucks but hopefully it is.
So until then, this has been another text blog provided by me, Darrogamer06 and hope to see you on Live to play some Gears! EMERGE!!!!! (Credit: Rich Gallup)
