I personally don't care about his new look or new voice. I mean they could've done worse. As for his new look and all, didn't Sasha tell Cole in the first game that his powers would warp him somehow? Maybe, again it's just a thought, but maybe that's what happened to Cole.

By the way, where's Moya in all of this?

Personally I don't mind either "Cole". I could go for the new one and or old one. I believe what they can try to do is put the old Cole together with the new Cole and see what you get when you mix them. Almost like a puzzle. I don't care too much for the voice either as long as it's not too far fetched and out of nowhere. The new voice, in my opinion kinda livened up Cole. The old voice (by Jason Cottle), was tough and grungy, which was necessary for that kind of game. This game's different so I can see some differences in appearance and tone of voice. I mean in the last game he was trying to survive. This game doesn't seem like he's trying to live through a quarantine like in Empire City. I won't lie the first time I heard the voice change I was shocked, but I got used to it. In my opinion they could've done worse finding a new actor. I still like his old voice overall, but this new one isn't as bad as it could be. Now if they had changed Zeke's voice I'd probably be a lot more upset 'cause in my opinion his voice is almost as iconic as Cole's old one. As for his appearance...I realized a while ago when I watched the first trailer video on Youtube that there weren't too many differences with Cole by his clothing. And he looks similar to Nathan Drake to most of you because of his hairstyle probably, but in the first game his hair seemed to already be growing in that kind of way though. But you're all right about one thing: The Yellow and Black Jacket is iconic for Cole. Maybe they'll give him the Jacket back (along with some other changes) and like I said earlier "MIX" both the new and old looks together. Whether they actually do this or not though...I'm still getting this game when it comes out.
