I'm a big fan of World War II games. I've played all of the Call of Duty series, Hearts of Iron III, and other games that satisfy my thirst for WWII goodness. When Brothers in Arms was recommended to me, I was thrilled by the prospect. I looked at some of the reviews online, and decided to pick it up. The game has an innovative squad control system, with one button controlling most of the tasks you can tell your squad to follow. The combat is great too, although bullets have a weird tendency to miss, even at point blank ranges. The voiceovers and the music is great, projecting a good atmosphere for the game. The theatrics are nice, with the characters acting out various things (the gritty death at the beginning and the landing sequence afterward was especially thrilling). I'd recommend this game to all FPS and/or WWII buffs. A more in-depth review will come when I finish the game. :)
