A Tribute to Sega...

Heres the weirdest thing, I own a PS2, yet I've been getting feelings that I want to get back into playing Sega games. Heres the thing, I was raised on a SNES (the best console ever), and when I was younger, I couldn't care less about the Genesis/Mega Drive. But now, I come to realisations that although Nintendo were more popular, Sega were more innovative developers, creating different games.

They were great console developers, creating some brilliant games, but I feel they had more success in the arcades. This is coming from a company who made Daytona USA, Virtua Cop, Virtua Fighter, Outrun, Virtual On and many other games. I wonder why that is?

More recently though, I've been trying my hand at playing some of the old Sonic games, and the reasons why they are great games are numerous. Theres nothing like running at fast speeds, jumping over every enemy, going over loops...gaming brilliance...

And the beat goes on...
