The war was bad, no matter which side you take. But WW2 shooters are terribly out of balance and people are starting to feel it. Besides, don't even get me started on who was better or worse, the Russians had their fair chunk of abuse too. Just that history is written by the victors and we got used to the Germans / Japanese = PURE EVIL scenario.

You don't even need a "what if scenario" to pull a campaign off. You can do a "let's invade France" which is a victory no matter who's side you're on :) You can invade Crete, airborne style. You can kick the US and UK all around the desert with Rommel. And yes, you can do it from the perspective of a soldier, who has to follow orders, no matter what.

Probably the biggest concern is not that it is a loosing fight, but about the "politically correct"-ness of it all. Well, I say get over it. It is our history, and it should be treated equally, no matter what.

BTW: as a person living in East Europe and getting 60 years of Russian abuse, believe me, compared to the Russians, the Germans were kinda civilised :)
