Dauragon Blog

Schools up again, so here I am.

So as you know I watch a lot of movies. Over the summer I saw The Dark Knight, Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, and a bunch more I can't even remember to name. I finished up Viva Pinata in awaiting for the sequal Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise. By saying I finshed up I mean I got 1000/1000 achievement points. Also I put Rock Band 2 on resurve, the bundle that is.

Finals Keeping me from my Blog :(

Anyways, Finals are here and I finally got a moment to stop and spread some gaming love. Here's an update for yall.

XBOX 360:

Halo 3 - 1000/1000

Assassin's Creed - Beat and on my shelf for a long while now.

Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney - Half Way, got it for a secret santa thing with my friends.

Viva Pinata - No where near done, the game is addicting and endless, aswell as endlessly frusterating.

I recommend all of these games. The bottom two for kids, the top two for teens and adults.

Kiddy Games FTW

Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy:

Working on episode V right now. Worth the $17 I spent at Gamestop to get this 360 game. Enjoyable to an extent.

Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time:

Got about an hour in yesturday but my girl friend got nearly 5 hours in two days, and that's saying something for her.

Advance Wars: Dual Strike:

Got to love 4 player AW.

If I were you and you owned a DS and 360, I'd buy these three games.

Zombies vs. Vampires

So I went to see 30 Days of Night yesturday night and it's probably the best vampire movie I've seen in a long time, better than Blade and Underworld. I think the last good vampire movie I've seen was John Carpenter's Vampires. It got me thinking, which is more of a threat to humans, vampires or zombies, I came up with my own little compairson this morning since I was bored...here it goes.

Vampires

Strengths:

They can smell human blood (so it makes it easier to find humans)

They're much smarter than zombies (so they can get past traps, and use logic to find humans such as baiting a human)

They have a high vertical (so if under attack or attacking it prooves as an advantage)

Weaknesses:

There are few vampires in compairson to zombies (so if one were to die it'd be easier for the next to die)

Stabbing through the heart (so in the unlikely event that this happens it would suck for that vampire)

Sunlight (so stay in the sun and hide in the dark)

Needs for survival:

Blood (so don't bleed or atleast try not to)

Darkness (so do your best to not be in it)

Zombies

Strengths:

Heightened hearing (so be quiet)

Heightened vision (so stay out of sight)

Numbers (so if you kill one, whoopty do...now just 999,999 more)

Relentless (so don't get yourself backed into a corner)

Weaknesses:

Thoughtless (so use your smarts)

Slow (so run or aim)

Shooting them in the head (so aim harder)

Needs for Survival:

Fresh Human Flesh (so hard to find theses days)

Common Traits

Strengths:

Physical Strength (so don't go Bruce Lee on em, espcially if it's a zombie and/or vampire Bruce Lee)

Agressive (so don't even try to reason with them)

Near Immortality (so outliving them can prove difficult)

Stealthy (so watch out)

Lack of a need for oxygen (so chocking them doesn't work or drowning them, or sending them into space)

Weaknesses:

Decapitation (so swing that ax harder)

And the victor is...

Zombies

The Why:

The threat of numbers and ability to hunt and night and day means more time for people to change on over to being a zombie than being a vampire.

Weekend of Movies

So the 17th was my mom's 49th birthday, and today was the only day I could see her. So I stoped by Best Buy and picked up the James Stewart Collection on DVD, cause I know she likes Jimmy Stewart, and old movies. Me and my girlfriend Leah went to the Rave Movie Theater and watcched Tim Burton's A Nightmare Before Christmas in 3-D. And today we're going to see 30 Days of Night.

Ich habe einen Deutchprufung.

Yes, I have a German Test today, don't mind me if I spelled that sentence wrong, it should be right. I've been studying all yesturday cept when I ate and when I took an hour long nap. (Nervous) I need to make a good grade on this test. Oh and I still need to talk to the math department about changing my major. No time for gaming till sunday.

Transformers, and Planet Terror

So me and my roomate went to Best Buy the other day and he got Transformers and I got Planet Terror. Watched em both last night, I still say Planet Terror is a more awesome movie. Either way it's another Zombie movie to add to my collection.

Want List: Flight of the living Dead, Day of the Dead, Dawn of the Dead (Old one)

Have List: Dawn of the Dead (New one), Shaun of the Dead, 28 Days Later, and now Planet Terror.

Halo 3 or Team Fortress 2.

Well this weekend I thought I should try and finish up on the rest of the achievements for the ranked free for all achievements for Halo 3 so I can get my katana for my character once I reached 1000, but I found myself sticking to Team Fortress 2 because...and here's the clincher...I found TF2 to be more enoyable. TF2 has the option of kicking players you don't like when you're the host...so anyone who was a little 6 year old or a person without a mic got kicked in just about every match. I got some good achievements...engineers are annoying but so easy to play as...they need to be nerfed a bit more.
